Top 40 Animated Films

Animated movies have done what most live films have failed to do - provide non stop entertainment and humor. Disney animated films have been released for decades but the 21st century is definitely the era of the computer generated animated flicks. Animated movies are adorable and fun, it is hard to see why one would not enjoy them. Let me reconnect you with your childhood for a bit, here is my list for best animated films of all time. Enjoy.

40. Chicken Run (2000)
The voice acting is fabulous, the humor is great, and the action sequences are spectacular. Fun film for all ages.

39. Kung Fu Panda (2008)
A pleasing mix of humor, martial arts action, and colorful animation, Kung Fu Panda was entertaining.

38. Fern Gully: The Last Rainforest (1992)
This was one of my favourite movies as a kid. A wonderful lesson about pollution and the destruction of rainforests, but it's also exciting, creepy and entertaining.

37. Tangled (2010)
Visually stunning, graceful and a cute story. Really nice family film.

36. The Bugs Bunny Road Runner Movie (1979)
A collaboration of all those looney tunes, this is hilarious and fun to watch. True Classic.

35. Up (2009)
Oscar best picture nominee, emotional and adorable story with bubbly characters.

34. Beavis and Butt-Head Do America (1996)
No one believed that America’s favourite mentally challenged metal-heads could possibly sustain a full-length feature. They did and brought constant laughter.

31. A Bug's Life (1998)
Cute animated tale full of adventure, spectacle, light romance and slight suspense.

30. Fantastic Mr. Fox (2009)
A delightful and funny feast, Wes Anderson infuses his classic style into this extremely quirky, offbeat hilarious film.

The South Park movie does what the TV-to-film genre rarely achieves: It not only validates its existence as a standalone feature, but it also expands on and stretches the boundaries in an awesome way. Hilarious, crude, loud but really engaging and entertaining. South Park movie stuck to the nature of the TV show.
