Poll: Best Film Reboot?

As I patiently await the new Superman reboot Man of Steel, I can't help but think of some film reboots that really worked. The original films may have been good, and in some cases bad, but the reboot did succeed in bringing entertainment and life to the franchise. The Star Trek reboot is one such example. As much as I adored the original films (well some of them anyways), the reboot did a fine job in getting me more interested in the Star Trek universe.

Not to get reboot mixed up with a remake, let me distinguish. While they are practically still the same thing,  a reboot is a completely new telling of the story, while a remake is usually just retelling the same story with often times the same characters.
